Who is the artist? is a video work we filmed at the opening of Jun Yang’s retrospective show The Artist, the Work, and the Exhibition at Kunsthaus Graz in 2019. The answers by the other artists and attendees playfully reflect on issues of language, naming, and identity. Interviewees include Claudia Pestana, Bruce Yonemoto, Oliver Klimpel, Friedrich Tietjen, and others.
We filmed a second series of interviews in 2020 and 2021 at Yang’s exhibitions at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, TKG+ Projects, and MoCA Taipei.
