Immortal Banquet: Tudi Gong & His Artist Friends is an exhibition organized by Yao Jui-Chung and Ada Kai-Ting Yang at the Taoyuan Tudigong Culture Museum featuring 25 artists. The show runs from April 18 to August 30, 2026. The opening ceremony starts on April 21st at 11am.
Tudigong (lit. ‘The Lord of the Land’) is a popular tutelary deity in Chinese folk religion to whom we frequently pray for good fortune. Countless shrines and temples are dedicated to Tudigong. It’s extraordinary to have a contemporary art exhibition that is.
I’m presenting my art–research project Moon–Block–Chain (2023) which links cryptocurrency with traditional divination techniques. I wrote the second edition of a Divination Guide which documents using moon blocks to generate the entropy for a cryptocurrency wallet. I also encode seed phrases in binary using 3D-printed prayer beads.
